Dear Lily Lake Lions,
As I sit to write and reflect on the 2017-2018 school year, I can’t help but be proud of the accomplishments of our school. From being named as the sixth highest-achieving elementary school in the county in the Daily Herald, to collecting over 500 can goods for local needy families, to honoring our U.S. Veterans and military troops, to actively participating in Start with Hello Week and No One Eats Alone, I am humbled by the character and drive of our Lily Lake students and community.
As our fifth graders move on to middle school I am confident that they will continue to represent the Lily Lake community through their phenomenal character and drive to persevere academically. I am very proud of these fifth grade students and their work in the Lion’s Club, service to their peers through the buddy program and teaching younger students about the scientific process through our Science Olympiad. I am extremely honored and proud to work in a community of learners that foster acceptance and caring through community service and support of one another.
To those students who continue to walk the halls of Lily Lake, I look forward to continuing to work with you, laugh with you and support you as you graduate through the various grade levels. Together we will continue to make a difference as Lily Lake Grade school prepares for its 100th birthday! Together we will continue our Tradition of Excellence at Lily Lake.
In partnership with you,
