Dear Lily Lake Families,
As we embark on a new school year, it is our mission at Lily Lake to stamp out bullying and teach kindness and compassion for others. Through tier one systems of support, we regularly teach students expected behaviors and how their attitude and behavior impact others.
During the next couple of weeks I will be visiting LL classrooms to discuss the impact of bullying and the difference between being mean, being rude and bullying. I will be showing the video found in the link below written and directed by a former St. Charles middle school student, Jonah Maxwell. I have attached the video and resources for you to discuss with your child.
Students will also have an opportunity to pledge their intentions to keep bullying and intimidating behaviors out of our school. Together students and staff make a commitment to Care about ourselves, Care about others and Care about our school!
